Manitoba Rowing Association Seeks Head Coach

The Manitoba Rowing Association is currently seeking a permanent, full-time Provincial Head Coach. Located in Winnipeg, the position will commence once a suitable candidate is determined. The application deadline for this position is 12 Noon Eastern Time, Wednesday, October 15, 2014.

The Manitoba Rowing Association is inviting applications from qualified coaches designated RCA Coach (former Level II equivalency) for the position of Provincial Coach.

The Provincial Coach’s primary responsibility is the recruitment and development of athletes for the Western Canada Summer Games and the Summer Games.

In 2017 Manitoba will host the Canada Summer Games and the MRA is looking for its best results ever.

The MRA is looking for an individual with exceptional communication skills and the ability to recruit and retain athletes. Part of the compensation package will reward the recruitment and retention of athletes in the form of a bonus.

The MRA has adopted Rowing Canada’s talent identification program Row to Podium and is enjoying excellent results from the effort. The successful coach will be expected to continue and build upon the program that was introduced in the past year.
