A financial award in memory of Peter is available annually to recognize athletes who are striving for excellence in rowing and are making an outstanding contribution to the sport. The recipients will share many of the same values of determination, commitment and sportsmanship consistently displayed by Peter.
The purpose is to assist athletes fulfill their educational goals while participating in the sport. One must be enrolled as a full-time student at a Community College or University in Manitoba and have achieved a satisfactory academic standing.
The award will be up to $9000 depending on the number of finalists.
All eligible students are encouraged to apply.
