The 2019 Western Canada Summer Games take place Aug 13-18 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
QUALIFICATIONS
- As per the Technical Package, any person listed as a coach must be qualified (trained or certified) to at least the NCCP RCA Performance Coach or previous level 3
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical coaching during practices and run the prescribed workout
- Attend MRA team, coaches, and parents’ meetings
- Attend Team Toba coaches and managers seminars and meetings
- Assist with completion of pre-game applications
- Sit on the selection committee and assists with developing and implementing selection criteria/process
- Monitor and implement training and competition plans for all, or assigned, athletes, in consultation with the Head Coach
- Ensure the Code of Conduct for athletes and staff is adhered to during all training, camps, and competitions
- Assist with technical and administrative tasks
- Assist in completion of post games report and help develop and implement recommendations for future games
- Promote the Western Canada Summer Games program and Manitoba Rowing
